DNV Certification (DNV) a global leader in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) verification has established a new office in Ottawa providing access to the federal government and the centre of climate change activities in Canada. Thomas Baumann, formerly head of GHG measurement and reporting for the Government of Canada’s GHG technology investment fund, will lead the new operation leveraging DNV’s international experience and network of GHG and technical experts to offer world class GHG assessment, validation, verification, certification and related services to meet the needs of existing and emerging Canadian climate change activities.
