How Self-Hypnosis can Help Golfers Improve Their Game and Get in the Zone

How Self-Hypnosis can Help Golfers Improve Their Game and Get in the Zone

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) July 12, 2006

In 2002, GOLF Magazine reviewed 5 hypnosis CDs for golfers. “Own The Zone,” created by Clinical Hypnotherapist Jennifer Scott, received the highest rating. As a result, she was interviewed by Kelly Tilghman on The Golf Channel. Then Jennifer was asked to write articles on golf’s “mental game” by GOLF Magazine’s online website, Golfonline. Also online, she is a featured writer for The Aspiring Golfer. She also writes on golf for regional golf magazines like GOLF JOURNEYS in cooperation with the Philadelphia section of the PGA.

In the Spring of 2005, Jennifer’s chapter “The Case for Hypnosis” was published in the landmark book “The Secret of Golf.” Compiled by George Peper, 25-year editor of GOLF Magazine, it is an anthology of golf’s most significant instructional ideas over the past 100 years. Some of those other innovators included are Ben Hogan, Tommy Armour and Dave Pelz.

A member of the National Speakers Association, Jennifer has been giving educational seminars at golf resorts coast to coast as well as at the San Diego Golf Academy. In addition, she has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows.

Because she is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Jennifer can help golfers uncover and resolve hidden Subconscious issues which interfere with their performance — particularly if they have the dreaded swing problem called “The Yips.” Very often these uncontrollable flinches cannot be resolved by more traditional professional coaching. For this and many other reasons, golfers from all over the country fly in to see her in Scottsdale, AZ.

Jennifer has been Certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by the Atwood Institute for Research and Education, is a Registered Hypnotherapist with the American Board of Hypnotherapy, a Certified Stress Management Consultant with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist with the Institute of Medical Hypnosis. She received her BA at Ottawa University.

BroadcastVision Entertainment Demonstrates New Video Game Exercise To Health Clubs At Club Industry Show 2005

BroadcastVision Entertainment Demonstrates New Video Game Exercise To Health Clubs At Club Industry Show 2005

Agoura Hills, CA (PRWEB) November 2, 2005

BroadcastVision Entertainment, a leading provider of exercise entertainment solutions for the fitness industry, will be demonstrating their new interactive exercise system, Dance Exercise Revolution™ at the Club Industry 2005 trade show at Chicago’s McCormick Place, November 3 -5.

Dance Exercise Revolution™ is an industrial strength, hardware package for the popular consumer video dance game, DDR™ (Dance Dance Revolution™) created by Konami Corporation. Scrolling onscreen arrows show exercisers where to place their feet on the corresponding Cobalt Flux dance platform. Points are gained by stepping on the right area of the dance platform at the right time. Some of the DDR™ games even provide a “workout” mode, which actually tracks how many calories the exerciser has burned. A person weighing 150 lbs. can burn about 640 calories in just one hour!

BroadcastVision Entertainment has created a durable hardware package suitable for the rigorous use in health clubs, YMCA’s and schools. The Dance Exercise Revolution system consists of a BroadcastVision 23” or 27” LCD screen mounted on a telescopic stand, a Playstation 2 with locking security enclosure, the Cobalt Flux industrial grade dance platform and controller, game software and speaker system. Key to fitness center operators is the 1 – 4 year warranties available on the dance platforms. “All the other dance platforms that we’ve seen in the market are designed for home use and they just don’t hold up in fitness center environments. Our partner, Cobalt Flux, has actually driven an SUV over the platforms and they don’t even crack! States Kevin Fee, V.P. of Marketing for BroadcastVision Entertainment.

Fee further adds “The fun and interactivity of Dance Exercise Revolution™ opens the door for people of all ages that don’t connect with conventional forms of exercise. It also creates an opportunity for membership-based clubs to attract entire families who can work out together. The combination of music, video and competition make Dance Exercise Revolution appealing to many of the couch potatoes of the world”.

BroadcastVision Entertainment, widely regarded as a pioneer of fitness entertainment, will be presenting many fitness entertainment solutions at Club Industry 2005. These would include personal cardio LCD TV’s that are positioned in front of cardio equipment that allow exercisers to watch their favorite television show, DVD or listen to a music CD. The exerciser simply plugs their headphone into the new BroadcastVision ORBIT screen controller, which they had designed by BMW Designworks.

BroadcastVision Entertainment will also present a new, Internet delivered, music and messaging system that will allow clubs to customize and day part music programs along with audio messages or advertisements that increase the club’s brand awareness, drive ancillary revenue streams and impart important messages to members.

DDR and Dance Dance Revolution are registered trademarks of Konami Corporation.

Canadian Hockey Fan Wins Stanley Cup Tickets in Poker Game

Canadian Hockey Fan Wins Stanley Cup Tickets in Poker Game

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (PRWEB) June 7, 2007

With just over 24 hours to go before the puck dropped for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and ticket prices climbing into the stratosphere Jason Inman, was beginning to lose hope he would get to see his favorite team, the Ottawa Senators, play. That was until he decided to put his poker skills to good use.

As it turned out, Canada’s longest running play-for-fun poker site TigerGaming.net was running a free online poker tournament Friday night and giving away two prime 100 level tickets to the hottest game in town, limousine transportation to ScotiaBank Place and a food and beverage budget for the night.

It was a Texas Hold’em tournament and Jason beat out hundreds of other competitors from Ottawa and area over several hours of poker play. When the smoked cleared he was the excited owner of the tickets.

On top of all that TigerGaming.net also donated $ 1 for every participant to Roger’s House and Ottawa Palliative care center. Roger’s House is dedicated to providing pediatric palliative care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families.

Sean Harris, TigerGaming’s Poker Manager, explained their reasons for organizing the tourney: “We were moved by the story of Alexander ‘Elgin’ Fraser, and respect the excellent work done by Roger’s House. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to support this worthy cause and share in Ottawa’s celebration of their team.”

Jason hopes the winning trend in the city doesn’t stop with him as the Senators head into Game 3 at 8 o’clock ET Saturday night.

TigerGaming.net is committed to running games that set the highest standard for fairness, security and privacy. On all games, players play against other players from around the world. TigerGaming.net provides a safe, fair and fun venue for people to enjoy poker.
