Award-winning Artist McKenzie’s Work to be Published by Access Fine Art Ltd.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) September 5, 2006

Artist McKenzie, who was the recipient of the ARTV Fine Art Awards for mixed media, has entered into a publishing relationship with respected Canadian company, Access Fine Art Limited. Licensing Agent John Ershek says, “McKenzie’s work was a perfect fit. We are proud to partner with this forward-thinking company whose list of artists is beyond compare.”

McKenzie, who has gained notoriety for her “healing” paintings, has agreed to release her newest series “Liquid Flowers” to be included in the Grand Image Collection published by Access Fine Art Ltd. McKenzie’s paintings have inspired a television documentary in pre-production that will focus on the connection between artwork and the healing process.

“I have instinctively known that art can heal. When I myself, struggled through a health crisis; it was serene artwork that mentally transported me to another place of calm and restoration. It is exciting to know that soon we will have true scientific data to back this up,” says award-winning artist, McKenzie.

McKenzie’s artistic style has been coined “Alluvious Chromatism.” Her liquid-like movement in her art focuses on the reflections and refractions of light on water. “I see everything in a state of flux. There is so much beauty and emotion in the colors and shapes constantly transformed by the subtle movement of a placid lake or pond,” says the artist. “I strive to capture that feeling in my paintings.”

Access Fine Art Ltd. is one of Canada’s leading distributors and publishers of fine art prints, posters, limited editions, and Giclees. It was established in 1986 as a modest distributor of poster and prints in less than two decades has reached an enviable position by becoming exclusive Canadian Distributors for reputable companies such as: New York Graphic Society, Wild Apple Graphics, Shorewood, Pecheur D’Image, Kunst Graphics and Cheerful Joys. And recently became the exclusive North American Distributor for Ediciones Selina of Spain.

“Our goal is to produce the best possible giclees, using strictly archival pigmented inks, canvases and papers…”says Access Fine Art Spokesman.

Canada’s Hip Hop Godfather Belly the First Canadian Indie Hip Hop Artist to go Gold this Century

Canada’s Hip Hop Godfather Belly the First Canadian Indie Hip Hop Artist to go Gold this Century

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) November 20, 2007

VP of CP Records and 2007 MuchMusic Video Award (MMVA) winner, Palestinian-Canadian rapper Belly has now become the first independent Canadian hip hop artist to go Gold this century with his double album debut The Revolution. Belly now joins the ranks of other Gold-selling hip hop artists this year including T.I. and K-OS. This outstanding accomplishment comes hot on the heels of his new video for the album’s third single “Ridin’” featuring Mario Winans, which was added as The Big One last month at MuchMusic.

After releasing on June 5, 2007, on CP Records/Fontana North, The Revolution’s first single “Pressure” featuring Grammy Award winner Ginuwine, reached number eight on the Canadian Top 100, and its video went to number one on MuchMusic’s Countdown in April of 2007. Second single “Don’t Be Shy”, featuring Latina R&B sensations Nina Sky reached number 12 on the Canadian Top 100, and the song’s video reached number seven on the MuchMusic Countdown. “Ridin”, the album’s third single, is currently cruising up the charts, at number 31 this week on the Canadian Top 100. Belly’s Gold album also features collaborations with Scarface (“I Swear”), Fabolous (“The Freshest”) and Kurupt (“I’m The Man”).

2007 has been an incredible year for Belly. He took home the 2007 MMVA for Best Rap Video, was interviewed by Geraldo at Large for Fox News, CNN, as well as the Associated Press, was a panellist at Russell Simmons’ Hip Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) and wrote the new theme song for his hometown NHL team the Ottawa Senators. He kicked off the year touring the country with hip hop heavyweights Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube in January, so it’s only fitting that Belly closes 2007 headlining his own cross-country tour:
