Just.Another.Common.Killer

Montreal, Quebec (Vocus/PRWEB) December 29, 2010

Just.Another.Common.Killer, a new book by Chantal Bellehumeur, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Under hypnosis, six-year-old Jack Huntington tells his psychiatrist the dark unsolved tale of Jack the Ripper’s 19th century murders. Such details are given, that Dr. Philips begins to believe that his patient might be the Ripper himself in another life. When the boy fails to give him any information that would reveal the identity of the White Chapel killer, Dr. Philips ridicules himself for having thought the impossible.

Years after killing his sisters in a sleepwalking state, Jack is claimed normal and able to re-enter the real world. He is released from the mental institution to start a new life, but slowly starts to act upon his killer instincts and begins to remember events that happened over one hundred years ago.

Jack is ready for new games!

Chantal Bellehumer was born on June 30th 1981. She lived half of her childhood in Toronto, and the other in Ottawa. At the age of 14, she started taking acting classes to overcome her shyness. She enjoyed it so much that theatre became her favourite hobby. After performing in a couple of amateur stage productions, she joined a youth-run theatre company. Bellehumer moved to Montreal at the age of 19 so that she could study theatre at Concordia University. But, once her son Aidan was born, he became her number one priority. She decided to put her acting career on hold before it really began. However, she still worked as an extra in several movies, television shows and commercials. She completely stopped this part time work once she found a suitable office job.

Bellehumeur wrote in her spare time. She published her first novel Veronica’s Soap Opera Life in 2009 along with its sequel Veronica’s Attempt at Romance. People always expected her to write a thriller, so she began to work on Just.Another.Common.Killer.

Bellehumeur lives in Montreal with her son, whom she loves more than anything in the world!

Just.Another.Common.Killer is a 168-page paperback with a retail price of US retail price of $ 17.00 and Canadian retail price of $ 19.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-9932-0. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. GAZARO Announces Winning Coveted TechCrunch50 Disqualification Award

GAZARO Announces Winning Coveted TechCrunch50 Disqualification Award

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 12, 2008

Gazaro, a personalized sales flyer platform that is revolutionizing the lowly paper sales flyer for the attention overloaded Internet generation, was selected as the winner of the coveted and highly subjective Calacanis TC50 Disqualification award.

Awarded on a whim each year by Jason Calacanis via Twitter (http://twitter.com/JasonCalacanis/statuses/916802315) , the coveted award recognizes the company with the most unethical, despicable, and utterly inhumane yet overly effective marketing tactic for directing attendees to their DemoPit booth and collecting voting chips.

Gazaro proudly captured the award for 2008 by setting off a state of mass hypnosis where TC50 attendees helplessly surrendered their voting chips. Never having seen women except on the Internet, the combination of the mythical Gazaro Girls (sighting: http://twitpic.com/ax0r) handing out instant win cards (http://twitpic.com/b9kz) for an oft sought after sexy Amazon Kindle (http://twitpic.com/b9q0) tipped the TC50 crowd into a state of hyper-suggestibility. Some attendees were so mystified that Gazaro acquired quite the red clad following, with individuals stripping down and asking for a Gazaro T-shirt to wear. In true capitalistic form, Gazaro seized the opportunity by extorting voting chips before attendees could make a conscious decision.

“We had our beautiful and intelligent promotions team in lovely red dresses that matched our visual brand, pitching Gazaro and handing out instant win cards that required attendees to view our demo before checking if they had a winning code! It was a shock and awe marketing strategy. We handed out 1000 instant win cards and delivered over 400 demos,” explains Sam Zaid, Gazaro’s CEO. “The whole time we weren’t even sure we were in the running for the award. In the end, I hear we won it by a hair.”

Next on the roadmap for Gazaro is a successful disqualification from Demo to close off the award path. To request an invitation or to learn more about Gazaro, please visit http://www.gazaro.com. Canadian Crystal Seer Predicts Bush Win

Canadian Crystal Seer Predicts Bush Win

(PRWEB) October 29, 2004

Canadian mindreader Blair Robertson claims his crystal ball shows a clear and decisive win by George W. Bush.

“It seems amazing right now, but I sense that Bush will clearly be the winner this time. I sense that John Kerry will start to buckle under the pressure of the last few days and will have yet another major contradiction that sinks him. It will be revealed later that it was an innocent mistake, but it will be too late”, says Robertson.

Robertson has predicted Canadian elections since the 1980’s, although he states “I am not political in any way, this is just for fun”.

In 1993, Robertson predicted the Canadian Liberal landslide victory right down to the exact seats the party would win. The written prediction was sealed in a safe a month in advance by an Ottawa Newspaper.

Blair Robertson performs entertaining hypnosis and mindreading for corporate audiences. His website is http://www.BlairRobertson.com

How Self-Hypnosis can Help Golfers Improve Their Game and Get in the Zone

How Self-Hypnosis can Help Golfers Improve Their Game and Get in the Zone

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) July 12, 2006

In 2002, GOLF Magazine reviewed 5 hypnosis CDs for golfers. “Own The Zone,” created by Clinical Hypnotherapist Jennifer Scott, received the highest rating. As a result, she was interviewed by Kelly Tilghman on The Golf Channel. Then Jennifer was asked to write articles on golf’s “mental game” by GOLF Magazine’s online website, Golfonline. Also online, she is a featured writer for The Aspiring Golfer. She also writes on golf for regional golf magazines like GOLF JOURNEYS in cooperation with the Philadelphia section of the PGA.

In the Spring of 2005, Jennifer’s chapter “The Case for Hypnosis” was published in the landmark book “The Secret of Golf.” Compiled by George Peper, 25-year editor of GOLF Magazine, it is an anthology of golf’s most significant instructional ideas over the past 100 years. Some of those other innovators included are Ben Hogan, Tommy Armour and Dave Pelz.

A member of the National Speakers Association, Jennifer has been giving educational seminars at golf resorts coast to coast as well as at the San Diego Golf Academy. In addition, she has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows.

Because she is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Jennifer can help golfers uncover and resolve hidden Subconscious issues which interfere with their performance — particularly if they have the dreaded swing problem called “The Yips.” Very often these uncontrollable flinches cannot be resolved by more traditional professional coaching. For this and many other reasons, golfers from all over the country fly in to see her in Scottsdale, AZ.

Jennifer has been Certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by the Atwood Institute for Research and Education, is a Registered Hypnotherapist with the American Board of Hypnotherapy, a Certified Stress Management Consultant with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist with the Institute of Medical Hypnosis. She received her BA at Ottawa University.

Ottawa Rotary Clubs Continue to Support Sri Lankan Tsunami Victims on Second Anniversary of Boxing Day Disaster

The cornerstone was laid on December 19 for a community Rotacentre located in Paiyagala, 45 kilometers south of Colombo, Sri Lanka, for the use of fishermen victims of the 2004 tsunami and their families. On the second anniversary of the Southeast Asian disaster that deprived so many Sri Lankan fishermen of their homes and livelihood, several Rotary Clubs in Ottawa are now financing the construction of the “Ottawa Rotacentre” there.

The Ottawa Rotary Clubs are co-operating with the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan which is overseeing the construction and operation of this first Rotacentre in Sri Lanka. It will complement the gift of some 27 Rotaboats given to 54 Tamil and Sinhalese fisher families in the summer of 2005 by these same Ottawa-area Rotary Clubs. Before the tsunami struck on Boxing Day 2004, fishing was the basis of the local economy and a chief source of food for Sri Lankans. West Ottawa Rotarian George Grande, Canada’s former High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, commented, “This Rotacentre project carries on the vital work already done by Ottawa Rotary in Sri Lanka. It fills a continuing need in the efforts of fishermen to return to normal life. We must never forget them and their disaster.”

The new Rotacentre will be used for repairing nets and engines and also for recreation and meetings of the fishermen’s families. It is planned to build an adjoining playground later. The cornerstone was laid by George and Charmaine Neufeld of Ottawa, charter members of the Ottawa Rotary Tsunami Support Group, and co-ordinated by Kathryn Williams of the Rotary Club of Ottawa.

The Rotary Clubs co-operating in this venture are the Rotary Club of Ottawa, Rotary Club of West Ottawa, Rotary Club of Ottawa South, Rotary Club of South Nepean, Rotary Club of Nepean-Kanata, Rotary Club of Ottawa Bytown, Rotary Club of Kanata Sunrise, and the Rotaract Club of Ottawa (university students’ club).

About Rotary: Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. It is comprised of 1.2 million members working in over 32,000 clubs in 170 countries. Rotary members initiate community projects that address many of today’s most critical issues such as violence, AIDS, hunger, the environment and health care.
